Who we are, and how we test
Mujarrab is an independent review site for home & kitchen gear. We don’t sell products, and we never publish a review of something we haven’t actually used in a real kitchen.
We started the site for a simple reason: most “reviews” online are written from the spec sheet without opening the box. We do the opposite — buy, live with it for weeks, then write.
Our testing methodology

We buy with our own money
Every product we review is purchased at retail from ordinary stores. We don’t accept free units, and brands don’t know we’re testing their products.

Standardized tasks per category
Every air fryer cooks the same dishes; every espresso machine pulls the same beans. Identical tasks are what make comparisons fair.

Weeks of daily use
A minimum of four weeks in a real kitchen before a review goes live. Real flaws — a quiet timer, awkward cleanup — show up over time, not on day one.

Scored out of 10 on four criteria
Build quality, performance, value, and ease of use. The final score is a weighted average, with performance weighted heaviest.

We re-test and update
Best-of lists are revisited every few months. If a product degrades with longer use or a better rival appears, we update the score and show the last-updated date.
Scoring criteria
Every score you see on the site is built from these same four criteria:
Build quality
Materials, how moving parts hold up, and the product’s condition after weeks of use.
Performance
Results on the standardized tasks: evenness, speed, and consistency day after day.
Value
What you get for the price tier, against its direct competitors.
Ease of use
Control clarity, cleanup, noise — everything you live with daily.

How does the site make money?
Through purchase links only: if you buy a product through a link in our reviews, we may earn a small commission from the retailer at no extra cost to you. We never take payment from brands for reviews, and this income never affects scores — most products we test, we don’t end up recommending.
